Monday Morning

I do like to have something to look forward to on a Monday morning even if it means a prompt start from the house. This morning it was another breakfast with my niece at Angels Share at the West End before she started work. We seem to be creatures of habit- she had her usual  eggs Benedict and I had my usual granola and fruit. Afterwards it was a stravaig along Princes Street to buy fruit in M&S and a hugely busy bus journey home. 

Edinburgh is a blipper’s paradise at the moment if only I could force myself to mingle with the great unwashed in places like the High Street, but I can’t,  so I can only serve up a blip of the floral decoration outside the local  Puffin Rooms where it is possible to smoke a cigar and have something to eat and drink as well……at a considerable price I have been told

As I write this with the patio door open there is much loud  cheering and hollering coming from some event in the Meadows just out of sight. I have not got the get up and go to find out more.
