Window views

I could have slept on this morning but wanted to give the hound a walk before holidaymakers descend.  It's been a cloudy, mild day. 

Bumped into Penny and labradors Bailey and Abby.  Penny and partner Pam used to live just round the corner from me in Cambridge.  Now they both live in Sheringham.  

After breakfast trundled my shopping trolley to the high street for supplies.  We're up a hill from the high street so I got good exercise today.

The main blip is t gt e view from my work room.  I can see a patch of the sea here.

The extra is a view from a south facing bedroom window over the front garden.  The front garden is secluded, shielded by hedges and trees.  Very few cars pass by and despite being on a corner it is remarkably quiet. 

Easy mushroom and lentil risotto for dinner tonight.  We have some windfall cooking apples from one of the trees in the front garden, might be good to make a crumble when i locate the required dish.
