Minimalism

For mono monday. One of the favourite perches for the local wood pigeons. I was in two minds if to chop out the gas chimney, but decided it still looked pretty minimal.

I pottered this morning after taking the photo, caught up a bit on Blip, and it was lunch time. A couple of poached eggs on toast set me up for a session in the garden this afternoon.

I have two green garden recycle bins and they are due to emptied on Wednesday morning, and washed Wednesday afternoon. I made a start on some severe pruning of my neighbours mixed hedge that follows the sun over my wall. We had a chat about it last week. So I broke the back of it and that filled one bin, and the second one I filled with deadheads some of the plants in the front . So now have two bins ready to be emptied. A very satisfying afternoon, and just after I had put the tools away I felt a few spots of rain. It hasn't amounted to much but every little helps.
