2nd flush

A miserable murky day and  we have been under a yellow weather warning for lightening and thunderstorms - just a few rumble here and there but many people have lost their power in other parts of the south west. I did a quick nip round the garden and the little ramblings roses are having a second flush - they have a very delicate smell too, so pretty and minimal enough for today's MM Challenge. 

I've been working hard and resisting the notion of completely rewriting the next talk I'm giving on Friday. I wish I had now concentrated on one well and focused the talk on that rather than doing a general thing - well actually I'm doing a general thing and then focusing on one which seems to be making a lot of work. The one is very interesting and after a lot of wrangling, has been recently restored  and reblessed- nicely and I've been invited to go and do the business for Heritage Week. It's in Glanworth, north Cork and they are kindly putting us up in an airbnb which has a hot tub - bliss :) I hope we have time to use it!
