Komiza-Vis
We left Trogir early this morning and motored over to the Island of Vis. We were hoping to go to the Blue Cave but it was closed due to winds. We found a sheltered cove for swimming (first extra) and after lunch we came into Komiza one of the towns on Vis where we have moored for the night. It had a military use at one stage I believe but now is more fishing, farming, wine making. It has a lot of yachts moored here so it must be popular but we could walk through the streets which were pleasantly free of people, most were heading for the beach for a swim.
Dinner was a wonderful sea food plate shared with the freshest most delicious fish, shrimp, prawns and muscles.
The main is of the town from near where the lobster restaurant was where scenes of Mamma Mia were filmed. The other extras are from around the town. I left the big camera on the boat today!
It's going to be an early start tomorrow as we are trying again for the Blue Cave. And I must apologise but with travelling I don't get much time for looking at blips. I am trying to keep up but I haven't been leaving comments.
