Coffee with Seth

Splendid coffee date with Seth. He had a fascinating job interview, not what he wants but he learned something important about what he does want. We talked at length about his children. I beam at him, basking in the light of his love for them—I see his delight, his good humor and patience, his deep caring, his wish to be the best father he can possibly be. We exchanged book titles and ideas. His time of being unemployed has been a boon for his kids and his mom, having him home and available.
