Flower power...

D was invited to play golf at the Castle Course at St Andrews so was off late morning.

After lunch I shut myself in my wee studio with a coffee, James Taylor playing, and made progress with painting the roof slates for our Skye friends.  

Painted the base colour on S & L's slate then got to work on Anna's. Five hours later and it's almost finished, just some final details to add.  I was hoping to get it finished but a delivery forced me to move to answer the door and probably just as well as my hip was starting to seize up.  Will be Wednesday before I get back to it as I have an appointment tomorrow.

After painting flowers all afternoon (and bees and ladybirds and strawberries :-) it had to be flowers for my blip.  Every time I open the front door I take a pic of these petunias thinking they will be my blip, well today is the day :-)

D returned from St Andrews full of the joys having played his best golf so far this year.  Happy days :D
