On the Beach

Missed the sunrise as I slept in; missed the sunset as there was no colour anyway..so took some pix of a plain old day-time photo of our beach. (and extra) 

The big event of the day was the arrival of my sister (extra) who will stay with me for my last three days here. When no family with boats are around, we rely on Brian and his boat taxi service to shuttle us to and from town. 

Still no wildlife sightings..except for our aggressive little red squirrel and his buddy the  chipmunk he likes to bully! I do miss seeing the beaver, the heron, the loons, he ducks and of course a deer or bear who make occasional appearances. We still have the songbirds and hummingbirds of course...but so far I have not been able to capture any good shots of them for blipping purposes..... 

Meanwhile I read....and now will have someone to chat with! And maybe our brother will come over for a visit as well?
