Tiny fossil

This is a glossopteris fossil which I found near Dubbo. The leaf is from a dominant tree in the Permian era (298m years ago). Thanks ApolloFly for hosting (rocks).

Today we had a surprise visit from our son James who is staying for a few nights hence I am very late blipping. It is his and his twins birthday on Thursday. This afternoon we did the school pickup so I’ve been a bit preoccupied.
