Seasonal shift

My day has been spent in leisure around the home but in the late afternoon I went to Borgholm, the main city in the northern part of the island where the concert venue for the two concerts will be, in an old community house that also has been used as a movie theatre and has a stage, suitable for performances. My responsibility will be to make sure the orchestra will sound as good as possible, this evening we started building the stage and checking that everything is working. Tomorrow will be a day of soundcheck and playing through some of the music, getting ready for the concert in the evening.

After that, on my way home, I stopped by at one of the camping sites close to a golf course, where it's normally overflowing with tourists in the summer. There are still quite a lot of people there, mostly vans with german numberplates. Kids were playing as well as they could in the windy and chilly evening. There is a definite change in season going on, the next week will be rainy, windy and a lot cooler than is has been lately. More on the concert tomorrow.
