Barbra

Today I took the twin grandchildren with  a friend and her dog Barbra to the NT house at Hatchlands near Guildford. The children really like Barbra who is a very nice well behaved dog. 
We had a good walk and the children explored the play areas and in front of the house there were lots of games to play with…badminton, hula hoops , football and other games. My friend  very gallantly played football with them being the goalkeeper most of the time…while I looked after Barbra! 
We had lunch there ..and were plagued by wasps! 
There was a huge second hand bookshop so some were purchased.
We made a quick tour through the house which has many pianos, harpsichords etc and lots of paintings by artists such as Titian. However it was very busy so we preferred to be outside today.

Back at home we played some games then had a quick visit to the playground before going back to their home for supper.
