Home!
Once I know we have decent loos and that I can get a hot shower without queuing for more than a few minutes, I do generally enjoy festival life. Listening to music, reading our books, gently boozing through the day: what could be nicer.
What undermines it for me - although it's a price worth paying - is the faff at either end. And to be fair, both the entry and, it transpired, exit to and from Green Man were very easy, but there was still packing and transporting stuff to the car to be done.
After that, we had a lovely drive up through Wales, even if the weather wasn't as good as last Wednesday, returning to Salford midafternoon.
We unpacked the car and did a bit of work, and I stayed on to see the miniMinx and give her her birthday present (as I won't see her on Friday), and have a bit of a catch up, and then I drove on up to Kirkby Lonsdale, as I have meetings tomorrow.
Today's Blip, something of an emergency blip, tbh, is of the garden - the fruit of the Minx's labours - looking lush and lovely.
