Out for a pedal

Went for a cycle this late afternoon with Youngest, riding along the Peak Forest Canal to Marple Locks. At Hyde Bank Tunnel where the towpath leaves the water for a short stretch (blip) a quick breather was had. After rejoining the canal on the Marple side of Hyde Bank, we saw that a minor breach had been repaired to a good standard. After crossing the aqueduct the start of the lock flight was reached. We didn't ride to the top lock, three or four of them was enough before turning back for home.
