Tamar bridges
We were up and out early, and soon on our way to Cornwall. It was slow going in parts with heavy traffic, but a pleasant enough journey. With a couple of stops along the way, we crossed the Tamar Bridge from Devon into Cornwall just before 5.00pm.
The "wild" campsite wasn't quite as we had envisaged, but we pitched the tent (extra - view from the tent) and then set off in to Saltash in search of sustenance, and to stretch our legs after the long journey. After enjoying fish & chips, we walked by the estuary and admired the two Bridges over the Tamar - the Tamar suspension bridge (a road bridge, and part of the A38) and the Royal Albert Bridge (a railway bridge) adjacent to it.
Finally, back to the campsite, and bed at the end of a long day.
