Giants Causeway and Derry

Another fascinating (and quite tiring) day.

We set off at 8.00 to reach the Giants Causeway when it first opened. It was still getting busy and got more and more packed by the minute.

It’s stunning and dramatic and I chose not to venture on to the columns. They warn that they have at least one ambulance a day. Judging by the selfie moments, I think that may well be an underestimate.

On to Derry…a walk on their walls and more about the troubles, including the Bogside Murals. It’s a fabulous and vibrant city these days.
