Ten Points!

This afternoon’s Senior Citizens bowls match was  at home against Copperfields, and we came away with a good result: eight wins out of ten, plus another two points for the aggregate score.

In my own game, I was trailing 5–9 at one stage but managed to turn things around by playing the green and catching my opponent on some deceptive marks.  I finished with a 21–14 win.

Elsewhere, our Tuesday league rivals Abergele picked up just four points, which means we’ve now leapfrogged them to sit at the top of the division by a single point.

Rhyl, also in contention, also scored 10 points and remain four points behind us.

With just four games left this season, the heat is on for promotion.
