Dominator

WEDNESDAY

This morning Izabela, the cleaner, was here, so while she worked, I kept myself busy with some scanning and shredding—trying to make a dent in the clutter in the third bedroom. 

Two bags of shredded paper later, the room looks no different, but the outside wheelie bin is now full! Luckily, our monthly collection is tomorrow.

In the afternoon I drove over to Prestatyn to meet my friend John for a catch-up over coffee and cake at the M&S café. 

Later on, after returning home, I took a short walk to the  post box. On the way back, I came across this old “Dominator 98” combine harvester trundling along behind a tractor and trailer through the village. 

Not exactly the sort of thing you want to meet head-on in our narrow lanes!
