It was a grey gloomy day today, though still warm. More laundry and some ironing was done, as well as more photo sorting. I had a hair appointment at noon, and R was out for his monthly lunch with the guys. He went out for a bike ride in the afternoon, but I stayed in continuing with jobs, and doing a bit of knitting and reading. I really like Tracy Chevalier as an author, and the Glassmaker doesn’t disappoint. The Glassmaker is a vivid and inventive portrait of a woman and her family and craft on the Venetian island of Murano.
