As I was going to be spending most of the day on the road back home, I didn't hold out much hope of a blip.

I turned the corner 100 yards away from Jim's in Humbie, and saw this handsome couple on the wall. My pal Pat, who lives in Melvaig too, used to have a peacock and peahen, and they used to sit on the Melvaig bridge making quite a racket. Many a tourist came within an inch of going off the road because of those 2 birds.
