Peaceful start…

Xtoph1 normally sets out for a walk at 7 but made allowances for my cup of tea so I could join him.  It was peaceful down by the Water of Leith and Anthony Gormley looked serene without any river debris piled up around him.  

I had a call at 11 which I did in the flat before walking down to the festival to register.  I was on a round table talking about co production with one of my former colleagues, Rebecca. There were two sessions and the experience of those at the table varied widely.  I met with an agent for a cup of tea before going out for a drink with Rebecca and two of the others.  It got quite jolly!  Christoph and S picked me up and we caught the tram down to Leith to have dinner at a new restaurant called Ardfern, more of a wine bar with small plates really but one that V had found a review of on the FT. Leith is coming up and up and this is an extension of Little Charthouse that’s been there for some time.  Amit joined us, his first festival, indeed his first Edinburgh.
