Having a flap!

I went to a different beach today and a group of 6 swans were preening in the sea, at the point where the river flows into the sea. This swan suddenly showed off his wings- he did it so quickly that I had to grab the photo fast - am annoyed that I didn’t fit all of his wing into the frame on the left, or a tiny bit of wing tip on the right.

Among these six swans was one solitary little brown duck. He seemed to want to join in with them so he (or she) was preening as well!

At this beach parking is free after 5pm, so from 4.30 I was only charged 50p! And I can stay till 9 am tomorrow if I want to!!!!
