Tiny Grasshopper

The girls and I were heading out to meet their mom at school for their Meet the Teachers event when Sophie spotted this little grasshopper on top of the dried Canna lily. At first I thought it was a leaf, but I was wrong. When I got back home, it was still there. I wonder if it is staying put because of today’s cooler temperatures. 
I am going to miss these little blip-spotters. Tomorrow is their last day here for the summer.
