Bounty

With a bounty of fruit this year, I am trying to find new ways to use it., and potentially make Christmas gifts. Jessica has made pear cordial and it was delicious! Although not T-Totalers, We don’t regularly consume alcohol but I do like cooking with it. I’m envisioning drizzling it over baked pears or even a tablespoonful in ginger beer! We have friends who will enjoy it also. I made pear with lemon and ginger, pear with lemon, and muscadine with vanilla bean . I can even taste the pear in a cake instead of vanilla flavoring! I am freezing muscadines as well for future use. I want to play with making shrubs with apple cider vinegar. Tomorrow, I need to start Treys fermented pepper paste!
