Never get tired of watching the barges

An early morning basin bob with MLaM. The weather was ideal,  so we swam all the way upstream to the boats, made a handprint, before 'sailing' back with the tide in our favour. MLaM used her superpower and floated for a bit (a skill, I have yet to develop) whilst I tread water. Then a coffee on the wall and a lovely chat.

Junior parkrun next, and as Marshall at the Ice Box, had the joy of cheering on the youngsters and their parents. During a catch-up with C in the dog walkers cafe we learned that A has an interview this week ... we promised to keep our fingers crossed for him. 

Rowing was cancelled,  so chance to knit in the garden before a cinema trip to see the Fantastic 4 ... a real disappointment; not enough character development and very little story, so I was not invested. Lots of special effects did not compensate.
