Busy town
Dull today, and if the forecast is anything to go by, we'll be having a great deal of rain in the next week or so!
Indoors for some of the morning, then before lunch I chopped up another bulk bag's worth of prunings in the back of the car.
Went to the dump after lunch, but the skip hadn't been emptied, but with the help of one of the staff I managed to empty my bag. I thought I'd do another one, but coming back through the town the traffic was a nightmare - I really should stay at home on Friday afternoons!
Unfortunately drivers coming down the hill into Oban see the queues beginning and turn off on what they think is a short-cut. It's not, as some of it is single track and much of it has parked cars along one side, so it clogs up really easily. Unfortunately it's my only way home. A ten minute drive from the dump took me half an hour!
Back home I fed all my outdoor potted plants though I've since discovered that we're due a great deal of rain, so maybe that was a waste of time. I also sowed some very special seeds from New Zealand as I'm very aware that I don't have enough plants!!
Then a Keep Oban Beautiful Friend called in to discuss upcoming work and that was my afternoon over! My Blip therefore is an EB, a quick pic of Petunia 'Rim Magenta' and Calceolaria mexicana in one of my baskets.
