Alan was up early and off to the barbers for an overdue haircut. H is wonderful with him and he always enjoys going. It helps that she's blonde. Well she was when I last saw her but I'm not sure if she still is. I know Alan wasn't impressed a few visit ago when she'd reverted to brunette. He didn't recognise her at first! lol
D was playing golf at South Queensferry. He was introducing one of his local golf pals to one of his Leven golf pals. They seemed to hit it off like he thought they would and now they have a round pencilled in when we return from the Hebrides, at Edzell. They do get about!
I've spent the afternoon in the studio again and managed to get Faith's slate finished. Yay. Also got the first coat of protective varnish on hers and Anna's slate. They will need three coats in all to ensure they are completely weatherproof.
I've changed my mind on the design and background colour of S & L's slate. Theirs will feature the name of their new house and I want that to be the stand out feature rather than the thistles. I've re-painted the background and left it at that as I was flagging slightly. I did manage to get my art materials and camera kit packed for our holiday so can relax about that.
We took the easy route for dinner and had Indian takeaway. Now trying to decide what to do tomorrow afternoon. Going out for lunch with Agnes and Adrian then considering either Broughty Ferry makers market, or the Kinross one, or lunch at Birnam Arts Centre and having a wander round Dunkeld. I suppose the weather will dictate.
Have a great weekend blip pals :-)
