COTE

Went to the cinema this afternoon.  Saw The Thursday Murder Club at The Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle.  The film premiered on 21 August in Leicester Square, London, ahead of its release on 22 August in 30 selected cinemas and its streaming debut by Netflix on 28 August. It is a British crime comedy film based on the 2020 novel by Richard Osman. It stars Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Ben Kingsley, Celia Imrie, David Tennant, Richard E. Grant and many more familiar faces. The cinema was full as this was the first showing .  I really enjoyed it.  I hadn't read the book so I had no idea of the storyline and didn't know " whodunnit " in advance. I would recommend it.

Came out of the cinema around 5pm and did a bit of shopping in Tesco before getting a bus home.  Took my blip shot near my bus stop.....  flowers around the door of the Cote restaurant for Flower Friday.  Thanks to BikerBear for hosting.

The weather forecast was for rain but in the end we had no rain and it was a really nice day.  Newcastle was very busy.
