unveiling

Shortly after I posted yesterday's blip I read that the street renaming could go ahead. We went to the event. The street names reflect the kind of place. Despite the weather quite a few people turned up.

I also finished book #11, The Ethics of AI by Rainer Mühlhoff (it is open access and can be downloaded). The books is excellent and I can highly recommend it. He describes how AI systems are socio-technological systems that cannot exist without human input. Like climate change we are all involved and cannot escape it but individually we are not responsible and cannot change it. Also like climate change we need to collectively approach the issue and develop regulations how and for what end they should be used.
