Common Carder

The cleaning went well this morning at the lodge. That was just as well because although my knee starts the day off well, I had an aching foot on the other leg as I stubbed my little toe badly walking barefoot round the bedroom.

Now I have bruising in my little toe and over the head of my 5th metatarsal but I'm comfortable at home in slippers.

While we were at the lodge I got the shot of the common carder bee on the greater bird's-foot-trefoil to use as a blip and as an addition to my photo explanation of our lodge's wildflower meadow.
