Esplanade

Yesterday we had a picnic in the car and I pushed Lady H along this popular walkway beside the Clyde, a favourite place for us too.
The red white and black buoy on the right was positioned off Roseneath opposite here in 1880. The Clyde river and estuary was the first in the world to have lighted buoys. Extras include the wildflowers garden around the buoy , Inverclyde Council doing this instead of costly labour consuming formal borders. Also a bit of ship snapping as always the grey one unidentified, the Loch Nevis in dock for service from its Mallaig base.
