Two waterfalls and a long walk

The plan was to go look at the falls at Janets Foss and Gordale Scar, then double back to the top of Malham Cove. Instead we ended up going *up* Gordale Scar, which was pretty much the limit of my scrambling ability (at least in one spot, the rest was fine). We cut across to the road and did make it to the top of the cove after all, then up the dry valley and over the hills on the pennine bridlepath/dales high way. A long day for people without hill climbing legs, but a good one!
