Oh What A

…………………………………….beautiful day! Wall to wall sunshine and warm temperatures for our final excursion. We headed to Thun by train this morning and had a few hours to explore before a very pleasant boat trip home down the length of the lake.

The Swiss Ironman competition was being held in Thun today which meant there were road and bridge closures around town this afternoon for the marathon…lots of super fit men and a few women running around!

My main is a view along the Aare river which runs through town. Extras of a beautifully clear Mountain View from the bedroom first thing; the national pastime of jumping off mountains; umbrella street in Interlaken; castle from the lake; flying on the lake; Thun town and yesterdays caves from the lake…if they stay in that order!
