Family

It's been a lovely sociable day. My friend Ann came round for a catch up for a few hours. Thankfully Mr R took Xander and Carson away food shopping and left me the quiet wildlings.  We had a lovely chat. 

And for the 1st time, I walked into boots pharmacy to collect my prescription and then a little wander up town. We bumped into my mil and our auntie Margo. Xander wanted to compare height. 

A drive round to my sisters for a while. Kept the wildlings entertained while we had a cuppa. 

I've been very sore this last week down my ass and hamstring which I never had before surgery,  I'm hoping it's just muscular.  But today it's taken it's toll on me. The drive yesterday probably didn't help. 

My neighbour Andrea who I went walking with has picked loads of damsons and when they are ripe she is going to teach me how to make damson gin in time for Christmas.  I can't wait. We are also going to go for another small walk tomorrow.  It gives her some space and down time. Her husband is a lovely and gentle man who we absolutely adore , but she is his carer as well as his wife. And some down time is needed at times. 

A quick catch up on blip before I take some meds. I've been trying to reduce one kind but today I'm taking what I need and it's leaving my brain a little mushy. 

Tomorrow the wildlings are back at school which means I can rest whwn they are away .
