Lean on Me

We focussed more on the Mahonie Loop around the camp today, taking our time to enjoy not just the animals on the way but the scenery too. 

Its rugged country in a lot of ways, and being so dry there were spirals of dust on a regular basis.

We sat for a long time watching the buffalo, that these two were part of, we reckoned the herd was some 60 to 80 strong and it looked like some new additions were going to join them soon. 

It was a beautiful day, with the temps getting into the low 30's so we took some time out on the outside restaurant area for some cold beer followed by more walks around the camp before another braai'd supper.
