Photographers, Young and Old

Another enjoyable outing with some friendly photographers - 6 blippers, 2 blippers partners, 7 non-blippers (we assume), plus Harry, the National Trust guide for our photography walk at Coughton Court.

Harry took us along some routes that we hadn't been on before so we got some different angles on the impressive Tudor architecture.

Along the way we managed to disturb some sheep. I got a chance to do some panning for the extra.

It was good to meet up with Technophobe, LooseCanon, steveng and Gill for a second time this week. Also hildasrose and chrispybox who we hadn't seen for a while.

I managed to get mrsfb to bring her old Canon 100D along and she enjoyed taking some photos with a proper camera for a change. It's definitely a different experience to just pointing and shooting with a phone camera. I haven't convinced her enough to join blipfoto though. Yet.

I loaded her images into Elements for her, and it's made me realise how lacking it is in comparison with Lightroom. I find it hard to believe that I was once such a big fan.

The café unfortunately was too busy to consider lunch, so we went our separate ways after the walk. We stopped off in Bourton on the way home to buy some sandwiches. We drove through the village - I've never seen it so busy!

In other news we managed a video call with daughter#2 who has just got back from a short visit to Erndtebrück where SIL#2 starts his new job in September. House hunting is going to be a challenge.
