Pasque flower!

An exciting day! George and Philippa have come to stay for a few days. Tom and Sophie brought them, a quick run from Gloucester and they have gone home for a few days of preparation before the children go off to boarding school for the first time!
We all explored the garden, and the house, and had supper before mum and dad disappeared. The children were fine with being left and very excited to help granddad put out the moth traps!
What do you make of a Pasque flower in August? Something a bit odd happening there.
