My topsy-turvy life

Hot stuff

Summer holiday 2025 day 2-3

First stop of the day was at Wembley to cheer Louisa on running the LDNX...actually, first stop off the day was Lola's bakery for coffee and croissant, and then over to Wembley.
The race was really busy and really hot and, as Louisa was running, Owen and me were walking around trying to spot her at various points. We managed 2k, 4k, 7.5k, 8.5k*, and the finish. It was a great route to spectate on and she did so well in that heat. I really didn't envy her.

Done, showered, and rested it was off to Kings Cross for Owen to see Platform 9¾ -thankfully he didn't want to queue (and pay) for a picture. McDonald's for lunch then over to the O2 for me to walk over the roof, while the boys went to Toca Social*. The climb was great fun, getting strapped into a harness* then up the -surprisingly bouncy- walkway to the top viewing platform*. The thought did cross my mind that I could plummet through the roof down into the wrestling below and see Rich and Stace.
