Acton Square

I was up in good time for a swim, this morning, and took this shot of Acton Square as I was walking back. 

After that I worked until lunchtime, when I drove up to Kirkby Lonsdale with Abi and Milly.

The M6 was a bit of a horror show and I made it back for my two o'clock call* with just minutes to spare. 

And then, after work, Milly went off to a friend's for a party, and Abi and I went down into Kirkby, enjoying a drink at The King's Arms, dinner at The Royal Hotel, and then a nightcap in The Red Dragon. 

*A slightly odd meeting with a mergers and acquisitions manager, who works for a company that wants to buy us. When I said, by email, that I wasn't interested, he suggested we meet anyway. It was basically half an hour of making conversation.
