The look out

I spent most of today doing chores around the house, getting ready for Mum's birthday on Monday, although I had a break mid-morning to enjoy breakfast at The Goat Gap Café with Abi and Milly. 

Hannah's train got into Oxenholme just after five, so Abi and Milly went to collect her while I did some guitar practice, and then a little while after they got back it was my turn to go to the station, this time to collect Mum and the Minx. 

The Minx had travelled down to London on Thursday evening, and yesterday afternoon, she and Hannah took Mum to see the miniMinx in her show: Come Alive!

Originally Hannah was staying in London for another night, but her plans changed, so there were six of us for curry, tonight, although, in the end, Mum felt to tired, so it was just the Minx and I walking into town at eight o'clock to meet the girls. 

We saw this fellow on our way along the road, keeping an eye out.
