Shady Cheltenham as the temperature rises

28 degrees today. Hopefully the last day of this very hot and dry spring and summer. We were in town this morning to meet up with A for coffee. It was good to retreat to the relative coolness of our house this afternoon. Our garden tap would not turn off so we had to summon help from our neighbour. Hopefully the plumber can come and sort it for us asap! Thanks to those who expressed interest in my Guardian article!
