Pictures Of Lily

Along with an underpass (the Council have been extolling the virtues of these wonderful, people friendly, inviting tunnels .....yeah! Right!) and some seedheads seen on our morning walk.

We lost another orchid flower this morning ... better than losing the whole plant though (give it time!).


There was a pick-up for The Larder this morning. I turned down their 'generous' offer ...... 1 bag of radishes..... with a 'use by' date of today. So much for an expensive 'up market' store.

We had to reset all our smoke detectors today. It would appear that the plasterers b*ggered  up the wireless link.
What a pain that was. 
Headaches all round.

I made a couple of wee boxes using scraps of rather nice 'exotic' (for 'exotic' read 'expensive') woods ... Zebrano, Ebony and something else I can't remember the name of.

It has been nice and warm today and the water lily has opened 4 flowers - so I nipped out and took pictures of them ,,, and the water mint flowers.
