GRAPES
Could have done with a lie in after my late night at the football but there was no chance of that as I had my weekly appointment at Blaydon for leg ulcer treatment. ( I was advised last week not to remove the bandage at home today so that saved a bit of time ) I caught the 9.30am bus near my house and went to the Metrocentre. Sat beside Mr S - one of Becky and Neil's old Primary School teachers. We had a good catch up ... and a grumble about this and that.
Got another bus at the Metrocentre to Blaydon Primary Care Centre, My appointment was for 10.40am and I was seen straight away. I actually saw a nurse I had seen before. When she removed the bandages and dressing I took a quick photo of my leg to compare to last weeks photo. Ive added them as an Extra. ( The Extra is more for my own reference so you don't need to look.) The leg is much better this week. Last week it was infected and I've been taking antibiotics which have done their job. And the Gabapentin Ive been taking for a few weeks is starting to help with the nerve pain. Its still very sore but much better than it was. So things are looking a bit more positive ... at last.
After my appointment I got a bus back to the Metrocentre and did a bit of shopping. Then another bus home. I arrived home at around 12.15pm.
Watched TV for a while and then I did some ironing.
Weather was warm again but there was a bit of a cooling breeze.
The Tiny Tuesday theme is ‘Edible’ so Ive blipped some grapes. I eat a lot of grapes - I tend to have some every day. Thanks to ApolloFly and Nicoiseannie for hosting.
