Andy Goldsworthy

We went to the Royal Scottish Academy to see the exhibition, Andy Goldsworthy Fifty Years. We’ve always liked his work and it seemed a great opportunity to see his history; it didn’t disappoint. The main display level is work created for the exhibition and by definition of a transitory nature; of course they can be reproduced elsewhere but not quite the same. The blip is Oak Passage. The extra is a view of Princes Street Gardens looking towards the castle showing just how dry it has been.

Best on black.

Today’s entry on the Abstract Fiesta journal is Red Wall.
