Empty Headed

A visit to Sculpture by the Lakes to meet up with a friend. I’d never been, it is one of her favourite places in Dorset. It’s owned by Simon Gudgeon - a solicitor, he changed career at the age of 40, taking up working with clay and learning how to sculpt in bronze and other materials. Impressive.

I enjoyed the meet up and chat. Sculpture is a personal thing and whilst there’s a lot here that was good it didn’t have the Wow factor for me. I think my favourite is that shown in the main image.

We were lucky. There were a couple of really heavy showers - coinciding with us having lunch in the cafe.
