View of the coast
Off down the coast but first, a visit to the graves from the Titanic. Well, it was sort of on the way.
Second stop Peggy’s Cove. It’s very scenic if you can find anywhere to park and get a place to stand where someone else isn’t already standing. We can hardly complain about tourists. At least we got ice creams - including a birthday cake mix. It is my birthday after all.
Onward, to Lunenburg which was much quieter and very cutesy indeed. And the sun finally came out. So much so that my foolish packing, where I’d forgotten to pack my shorts had to be rectified. There was a menswear shop that looked out the 70s. Not like me - I’m still in my sixties. Just.
So, a most delightful evening was in prospect and indeed was had, sitting out overlooking the harbour. Oysters followed by all manner of seafoody small plates washed down with a Nova Scotia white. Happy birthday to me!
