Eucodonia Adele
Another of my collection of tender gesneriads, this has been in flower for a couple of months now and still looks good.
The change in the weather was evident in a few heavy showers today but in between it was pleasant and bright. I had a slow start before spending an hour at pottery sorting out a few bottles of glaze that needed a little tlc. Lunch with Ruth before we set out for a bit of foraging. Ruth has been making woven baskets, mostly tiny ones, out of natural materials. Peeled bark, Iris leaves, fibres recovered from withing plant stems and even Dandelion stems. Up around where Sue lives there's lots of suitable stuff and our visit was very useful, if brief.
Work from 4 till 9 was for the final Spud Sunset Special. Learning from previous events we managed better tonight but although the service was as quick as we could make it, it still took longer than I'd like. I have a few ideas for next year that might help smooth out the bumps. Very tired tonight, a welcome day off tomorrow.
