Last day in Sussex

Rain is predicted, but phone forecasts vary in the possible timing. J and I get the bus to Lewes, then walk north beside the river Ouse for a couple of miles.  So lovely. It’s tidal here so apparently flowing backwards. We see a few birds - one cormorant, one heron. The light, and the trees are beautiful as you see. There was some light rain for about 30 seconds - about 20 drops each:) And despite some threatening dark clouds there was no further rain by the time I left on the train at 5.
