Mousehole to Lamorna Cove

That's another 'I Walk Cornwall' walk ticked off our list. We walked along the coast path from Mousehole to Lamorna Cove and then came back through the fields. OMG! It wore my human out............ It was described as a 'grade 4' on the app but as it was only about 5 miles, Ann said, 'Trixie, it'll be fine. It's not a mega long walk so it will only take us a couple of hours.'

Between 2010 – 2012 Ann walked the whole of the South West Coast Path with MollyCollie but she was 15 years younger then. You can follow her journey here. However, she's not done this section of the SWCP since then. It was hard!!!

At first it was easy and she said, 'Trixie, this walk hasn't been graded properly. No way is this a 4.' Then we had to start scrambling over loads of rocks and boulders and Ann found it really hard. Obviously I didn't because I've got 4 legs and am nearer the ground, so I was racing on ahead and then I kept having to come back to make sure Ann was following me.

….............And then once we got to Lamorna Cove, the return route was up a rocky lane to the top of a hill and then a fairly easy walk back to Mousehole across the fields.

….............When we got home, Ann had to have a lie down!!! It was a nice walk though..................
