2 weeks post op

After a small bit of essential admin this morning, washing in the machine, I took Honey along Glenside for her walk. We passed an old cottage which was almost completely covered in Virginia Creeper. It was just starting to turn to autumn colours but not quite enough.
Callum said it had been cut back quite severely only about 6 weeks ago, but you could hardly see the windows.

Anyway, it wasn’t colourful enough for the AT theme, so I will go back again at some point. Instead I blipped my kitchen runner when I got back home this afternoon. Thanks Ingeborg for hosting.

Then after lunch we trundled off to Tees Valley for The Patient to get his dressing removed and to be assessed by the physio. She was very pleased with his progress. Gave him some more exercises and manipulated the knee a little. So he is a bit sore tonight but satisfied it’s all going well. I have put a picture in extras. But please don’t look if it’s not your sort of thing. It’s more a diary record for me. [Right knee; op date 13/8/25; glued]

Then later this afternoon Nicoiseannie and I had our video call and went through the TT entries. They will be reported with tomorrow’s blip, and then that’s us done for the month.
