Edinburgh

Back blip - I also blipped the 18th August

After walking Django in the estate (blipped) with Claudia, we went to Edinburgh where I was due to meet my friend Jane to see Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie talking about her new novel Dream Count at the Book Festival. It was a good event, though I felt that the chair was speaking too much, which meant that there was time for only one question. Also the readings were done by the chair, which is very unusual and I am wondering whether it was by request.. 
Afterward, I met up with Claudia again and we went for a very late lunch, followed by a walk round Edinburgh, catching some of the Festival atmosphere in the Royal Mile. We stopped off for tea and cake in Cockburn street then came back home.
